Read this slowly and carefully, it is the preamble (description of purpose) of the Constitution of the United States.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Today is well over 200 years since the declaration and ratification of our nations guidelines. A fine time to look things over and decide if we are going in a direction that would please our wise forefathers.

Do we have a perfect union?

Have we established justice?

Do we have domestic tranquility?

Do we have a common defense against the evils of mankind?

Are we promoting the general welfare of all?

Are we protecting the Blessings of natural Liberty for ourselves and future generations?
